Rapper Thiago Elniño (RJ) performs this Saturday at the Kebrada Festival

It’s showzaço at the Kebrada Festival! The rapper represents black urban music. Adding new elements to his sound, marked by boombap and Jamaican influences, the singer presents the show Pedras, Flechas, Lanças, Espadas e Espelhos, the name of his second album, which approximates the sounds of terreiros and Brazilian rhythms such as guitars; also bringing a little afrobeat and latin rhythms. The repertoire also includes songs from previous works, all connected by beats, effects and the strong and energetic narrative of the MC, who takes to the stage accompanied by DJ Carol Oliveira. Thiago was born in Volta Redonda and started in music at the age of 15. His inspirations are Luís Melodia, Marku Ribas, Itamar Assumpção, Jorge Ben Jor, Fela Kuti and boxer Muhammed Ali. Over his 17-year career, he released the EPs Cavalo de Briga (2012) and Filhos de Um Deus que Dança ( 2016). A Rotina do Pombo (2017) is his first album. His video clips Amigo Branco (2013), Diaspora (2016) and Pedagoginga (2017) reinforce what he believes to be the strength of his work: propose guidelines!
