Award-winning DJ Erick Jay (SP) performs at Kebrada Festival this Saturday

The DJ performs on Saturday (12/14), at 8:30 pm. Come along and the track will boil! Performance DJ, combines speed, creativity and mastery of the track. His sound is influenced by Marvin Gaye, Tim Maia, James Brown and Michael Jackson. It brings to Kebrada’s set a lot of Hip Hop, Black Music, flashbacks, electronic music and MPB. Erick Jay competed with DJ’s from around the world and won the DMC World, the biggest and most prestigious DJ’s championship on the planet, and the Ida World Battle, in 2016, becoming the first DJ in Latin America to win an international title. This year it won the DMC ON LINE. For three consecutive years (2006 to 2008) he was considered the best DJ in Latin America. He has 14 champion titles in national championships. In 2012, he was nominated for the Global Spin Awards (United States), a kind of Grammy for DJ’s, in the South America category. He toured abroad, performing in France, Germany, Czech Republic and England. He worked with the rap groups Pregador Luo, Dexter and Xis. He is currently a DJ for rapper Kamau and Black Alien.
