Kebrada Festival: Hip Hop Groups from Maranhão perform this Saturday

Come together to strengthen the Hip Hop scene in Maranhão! Big Boy + CFN + Lyric Smuggling + DJ Johnny Jay will perform on Saturday (12/14), at 7pm. DJ JOHNNY JAY runs Cia. Crushes Hip Hop and acts as a DJ. He took a DJ course at Vox Home Studio and has been DJing events and battles for seven years. He was DJ at the Maranhense Dance Week (2017 and 2018), at Batalha Negro Cosme and at the Sesc Guajajaras Hip Hop Shows (2017) and Sesc Hip Hop Shows (2018). On Set: Hip Hop Underground and House Dance. CFN brings together young Hip Hop artists: Hades Mc, Ezeek Mc, Yorih, Torch, Ivi03, Cadete and its founder and producer, Luís Philipe. It carries out the projects Nordeste Pro Mundo and Nos Ares da Leste. His songs talk about youth and garner millions of hits on digital platforms. BIG BOY started composing Rap at the age of 17. Throughout his career, he toured cities in the northeast of other regions of Brazil. His songs portray the reality and resistance of the periphery, the black movement, indigenous issues, LGBTQ’s, among other themes. As a form of resistance, he created the Revolutionary Infantry. CONTRABANDO LÍRICO the group uses Rap to exercise its criticism with poetry and rhythmic melodies. Formed by Amanda Layna, Bolchevik, Boyka MC and Italo Slim. DJ JOHNNY JAY, in addition to DJing, runs Cia. Crushes Hip Hop. He was a DJ at the Maranhense Dance Week, Batalha Negro Cosme and at the Hip Hop Sesc Guajajaras and Sesc Hip Hop Shows.
