Kebrada Festival brings together graffiti team from Maranhão to create a Panel

Kebrada gathered a strong team of graffiti from Maranhão to create the panel that will be the highlight of the CCVM patio throughout 2020. Come here to follow the creative process and watch these beasts in action! It will be on the 20th and 21st of December, from 2 pm. BNK is of indigenous origin and started painting in 2015. His line draws towards realism. He has been working on the streets of São Luís, seeking to show the importance of childhood for each citizen, referring to indigenous traits and recording a little of the culture of his Tremembé people. CAJÚ is an illustrator, owner of Cajú Estúdio and started in graffiti in 2013. He is part of the Coletivo Irmãos de Rua Crew. His work brings elements from nature. He participated in street art events, such as Da Ponte pra Cá, Riscos & Rabiscos, Favelart, Tinta na Veia, Cores da Vila. NSW NASCIMENTO started working in graffiti in 2004. He is a member of one of the main groups in São Luís, Coletivo Effect Collateral (EF.CO Crew). Along with other artists, he helped change the urban art scene in the city, bringing the walls to life. Fascinated by the 3D style, he uses geometric curves and straight lines in his art. RICARDO KADIN has been a graffiti artist since 2008, develops the wildstyle style, is part of the IRC collective (Irmãos de Rua Crew) and is a graffiti instructor. Abraham and From the Bridge to Here. RONALD RABELO had his first contact with graffiti in 2000. He participated in the Sonho dos Erês Project, carried out by the Black Culture Center of Maranhão, in 2003. In the same year, he created the Coletivo Nagô. In his works he portrays elements of the Afro culture, the daily life and the struggle banners of the black people. GUS started in graffiti in 2002, the year he founded the crew 2º Ato. His style is cartoon-caricatures. His works are on the streets of São Luís, mainly in Cidade Operária.
