Kebrada 2020 Festival Open Enrollment for Open Talk: Hip Hop Street Culture and Diversity , with Jup do Bairro (SP) and Rico Dalasam (SP), Friday, 12/18, from 6pm to 7pm. The universe of Hip Hop culture is still considered a predominantly male environment. However, this reality is increasingly changing, and women, LGBTQ`s are finding space in the movement to express their art and their voice. At the meeting, the artists will share their trajectories in the Hip Hop movement and how they have been breaking barriers and establishing themselves as artists/rappers in this medium. Rico Dalasam, rapper and composer, released, in 2015, his first work, the EP Modo Diverso , bringing together six authorial songs that narrate his life experiences as a young, black and gay man living on the outskirts of Greater São Paulo. Since then, her career has been consolidated and this year she released a new EP Dolores Dala Guardião do Alívio , in which she portrays the duality that sews her work: a mixture of pain and relief, withdrawal and transformation. Jup do Bairro is a singer and songwriter. This year, he released his first EP, Corpo sem Juízo . With musical direction by BADSISTA and feats. by Deize Tigrona, Rico Dalasam, Linn da Quebrada and Mulambo, the project put Jup in the crosshairs of contemporary Brazilian music, giving her the Revelation Award (Canal Multishow) and two WME nominations.
