Body Territory: Between Brazil and Black Africa - Round 2: The Ritual Body in Black Performance, with Reginaldo Flores (BA), Renata Lima (GO) and Onisajé (BA) - Open Enrollment

As part of CCVM's Black Month and Diversity program, the program Território Corpo: Entre Brasil e África Negra promotes, on Tuesday (24/11), from 7 pm to 9 pm, the Conversation Round 2: The Ritual Body in Black Performance, ith Reginald Flowers (BA), Renata Lima (GO) and Onisajé (BA). Through reflection on the various ritual territories, the invited artists and researchers will enumerate and point out possible dialogues between institutional art spaces and the rich peripheral context. Reginaldo Daniel Flores is the biological son of Clarice Daniel de Castro, from the island of Itaparica (BA), and therefore, descendants of the Egungun cult founded by his ancestors. He was raised, like his mother, by Mother Lady at Ile Ase Opo Afonja , where they were initiated into the cult of Òrìṣà. He is also the godson of Mestre Didi (Deoscóredes M. dos Santos) and Inaicyra Falcão dos Santos. In his civil trajectory, he has a degree in Dance Degree (UFBA) and a postgraduate degree in Fundamentals of Teaching Practice and a Master's degree in Education from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). He retired as a professor at the state school in Sergipe and at the Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS). Renata Lima holds a master's and doctorate in Arts (Unicamp-SP), the institution from which she graduated in Dance. He works as a professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). She is artistic director at Núcleo Coletivo 22 and capoeirista at the Centro de Capoeira Angola Angoleira Sim Sinhô. Onisajé is Yakekerê – second priestess of the terreiro, at Ilê Axé Oyá L'adê Inan, in Alagoinhas (BA). Playwright, actor coach, educator and researcher of African culture in Brazil with an emphasis on African-based religions, Candomblé, is a Master in Performing Arts by the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts (UFBA) and founding director of the Afro-Brazilian Theater Nucleus of Alagoinhas – NATA . He directed the shows Ogun – Deus e Homem (2010 ) and Erê , by Bando de Teatro Olodum (2015), among other award-winning productions.
