The call for the selection of proposals for Workshops 2021 is open from October 24th to December 23rd, 2020. Artists, professors, researchers and cultural professionals interested in giving workshops during the year 2021 at the headquarters and / or on the CCVM virtual networks. Proposals for theoretical and practical workshops can be presented, with priority given to those that somehow contribute to the conceptual and professional instrumentalization of the participants. In other words, if the proponent identifies an educational gap in their environment, or things that can be useful for other people, within the field of culture, they can propose a workshop to share their knowledge. The workshops presented in virtual format will be held on the platforms: zoom, youtube, instagram, facebook, etc, with audiovisual production standards from the CCVM. The call will receive proposals from different languages: music, dance, visual arts, performing arts, audiovisual, crafts, communication, history, fashion, are some of the languages. All proposals will become part of the CCVM database, and may be selected later, in order to compose the schedule, together with other activities offered free of charge by the CCVM, such as exhibitions, events and shows. For Gabriel Gutierrez, CCVM's artistic manager and coordinator, the call is a way to map what artists, teachers and culture makers are thinking about in the field of intersection between education and culture. “ The sharing of knowledge is fundamental for the creation of new perspectives on cultural activities, aware that concept and practice are bases for free thinking”, completes the manager. The CCVM will make the first selection of proposals submitted by January 31, 2021, and will contact the groups to verify the feasibility of execution and, subsequently, for new calls at any time.
