Even with the technological advancement that introduced us to CDs and, today, to music streams, vinyl still resists. Those who are passionate about the charm of music reproduced on record players keep alive the tradition of this type of phonographic reproduction. One of those in love is journalist and DJ Vanessa Serra, who conceived the 1st Vinyl & Poetry Fair, which opens its doors to the public this Saturday, April 23, from 2 pm to 7 pm, at the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center.
Conceived from the weekly Vinil & Poesia soiree, held by Vanessa, the fair emerged to expand the number of connoisseurs who could exchange knowledge and moments of leisure around this artistic universe.
The program will feature discotheques of well-known names from the local scene, a chat about Maranhão’s phonographic production with Mestre Josias Sobrinho, a masterclass on the assembly and handling of vinyl discotheques, poetry recital and booths for the sale of books and vinyls.
Totally free of charge, the program is part of the CCVM’s Open Patio program.
