Workshop presents screen printing techniques for beginners

The Introduction to Screen Printing workshop will demonstrate the graphic reproduction technique through the production of photoliths, the manufacture of the canvases and practices in different applications, such as fabric, paper and packaging.

The duo Hermano Torres and Juliana Lasak will teach the workshop. Hermano has a bachelor’s degree in Design from the Federal University of Maranhão and a certificate in Digital Arts from the City College of San Francisco, in the United States. He has more than 10 years of career as a designer and illustrator. Juliana is an artist, artisan and Visual Arts graduate from the Federal University of Maranhão, with a work characterized by the intersection between different practices, such as engraving techniques, acrylic painting, murals and papier-mâché.

20 places will be available. Those interested can register in person, on the first day of school, starting at 13:00. Vacancies will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
