Workshop aimed at women teaches the tradition of the Crioula Drum

The dance, play and song of the Crioula Drum, intangible heritage of humanity, and all the elements that make up this important tradition of Maranhão will be taught at the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center, on July 26 and 27, starting at 14:00, at the Women Who Give in Leather workshop.

It will be two days of initiation into the universe of Tambor made by the devout and popular culture player Carla Coreira. The workshop is aimed exclusively at the female audience, with the intention of increasingly praising the role of women in the conduct and continuity of traditions.

Interested parties must attend the CCVM on the dates mentioned. There are 20 places available filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
