Tomaz de Aquino Symphony Band presents concert at the Open Patio

A symphony of classics composed by Brazilian and foreign musicians will be the attraction tomorrow, October 20, at 19:00, in the Open Patio of the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center. The Tomaz Symphonic Band by Aquino Leite returns to the CCVM stage under the direction and artistic direction of Jairo Moraes with 52 members.

In addition to the musical part of the show, the presentation will include didactic interventions, with explanations about the composers and the works, providing the audience with an immersive experience in classical music.

Aquino Leite’s Tomaz Symphonic Band began its activities in 2005 at the initiative of Thales do Vale, trumpet player and teacher at the Maranhão State Music School (EMEM) and consists of EMEM students and guests.

The Vale Maranhão Cultural Center is located at Rua Direita, 149, São Luís Historic Center. Admission is free.
