Tião Carvalho pays homage to João do Vale in the Open Courtyard

Singing João do Vale’s work, Tião Carvalho, from Maranhão, performs at Pátio Aberto the disco show that mixes little known songs – such as Baião de Viola, Oos Óio de Anabela, Todos Cantam Sua Terra – with the renowned Matuto Transviado, A Voz do Povo, Peba na Pimenta, Carcara, among others.

The repertoire includes a variety of rhythms that cover the careers of the two artists: xotes, baiões, sambas, Bumba Meu Boi and Tambor de Crioula.
