The exhibition that celebrated the 50-year career of the singer from Maranhão completes a year of activity with its last days playing

The CCVM completes, on February 12th, one year since the exhibition “With Love, Alcione” opened. Photos, records, vinyls, videos, props, costumes and objects are some of the items that make up this rich collection. Its main objective was to celebrate the 50-year career of Alcione, one of the most important and famous singers in the history of Brazilian music.

The exhibition delves into the different stages of the singer’s life, as well as her career in world music. From his birth until now, 78 years of life dedicated to his passions: music, carnival, Saint John, religion and its audience. These passions, in the exhibition, become paths through which the visitor can walk and learn a little more about the life and work of the renowned artist.

Curated by Deyla Rabelo, Gabriel Gutierrez and Luciana Gondim, the exhibition has its last days scheduled for the month of February. “With Love, Alcione” will run until the 28th of this month.
