Tomaz de Aquino Symphonic Band presents the Concerto Brasil Brasileiro, in the open courtyard of this Thursday

This Thursday(08) at 7:00 pm , the Pátio Aberto hosts the Tomaz de Aquino Symphonic Band . The band started its activities in 2005, at the initiative of Thales do Vale, trumpeter and teacher at the School of Music of the State of Maranhão (EMEM). Since 2013, it has been under the direction of Jairo Moraes. It is made up of 40 musicians, including EMEM students and guests. It has the participation of Professor Daniel Ferreira, clarinetist, concertmaster and assistant conductor. The Concerto Brasil Brasileiro will present arrangements and adaptations of classics of Brazilian popular music, in the genres dodo, samba, baião, bossa nova, among others. Just get there!
