Sonário Workshop with Camila Lima (DF)

30 November to 04 December 2021 to 14:30

The main objectives of the workshop are the teaching of audio capture techniques and the formation of a digital sound collection of intangible heritage, enabling new records of popular culture from Maranhão and raising awareness about listening.

Camila Lima, a master’s degree in Social Communication with emphasis on Image, Sound and Research from the University of Brasília, will teach the classes. The workshop is the result of Camila’s experience in the Sonário do Sertão project, where a virtual collection of sertão sounds was developed and awarded by IPHAN as an initiative to preserve and disseminate Brazilian intangible heritage.

Registrations open by clicking the link next to it. Classes will take place in person at the CCVM.
