As part of the April Notes program at the CCVM, professor and researcher Marcos Tadeu teaches, this Friday (11), the open class Rhythms of Antiquities in Maranhão.
The activity aims to expand the traditional concept of Antiquity, reflecting on the presence and importance of Maranhão in the formation of world cultural heritage. Using historical sources and comparative history, the class will highlight the appreciation of local identity and the role of teaching indigenous and regional history.
With a doctorate in History, Marcos Tadeu coordinates the Maranhão Ancient History Observatory, a project dedicated to studying and publicizing the state’s global connections with the world.
