Quinta has samba with Conjunto Madrilenus at Pátio Aberto, at 7pm

11 July 2019

This Thursday's Pátio Aberto(11) receives, at 7pm, the show Samba São Luís , with Conjunto Madrilenus . Created at Madre Deus six years ago, Madrilenus is formed by a good group of samba dancers: Jorge Luís (cavaquinho), Júlio Cunha (guitar), José Ribamar (pandeiro), Maurício Gracindo (tan tan/percussion), Madson Peixoto (percussion) ) and Renan Xavier (drums). On vocals, features Silverio Junior and Adão Camilo. The group organizes one of the biggest samba events in Maranhão, Capital do Samba , which brings together more than 100 samba musicians. Every month it promotes the great Tribuna do Samba roda at Madre Deus. The show will feature songs from the last CD, I think it's Good (2017) and sambas by composers from Maranhão such as Patativa, César Teixeira, Josias Sobrinho and Carlos Quirino. Enough for the samba circle!
