Curated by filmmaker George Pedrosa and produced by Gabriel Marques and Josh Baconi, the Quelly – National Gender and Sexuality Film Festival returns to the CCVM for its 7th edition, in celebration of LGBTQIAP+ Pride Month.
The program will take place from June 20 to 22. This year, the selected films portray discussions such as the presence of LGBTQIA+ people in religious spaces, legal and safe access to the interruption of pregnancy, and works that escape the conservative way of exploring sexuality. After the sessions, we will have rounds of conversations with the directors and cast of some of the films.
In addition to the films, a body awareness workshop will be held for a dialogue between expression and movement, with actor Lorre Yégo Motta.
All programming is free of charge. The 7th Quelly – National Gender and Sexuality Film Festival is a production by Kasarão Filmes.
