The CCVM will celebrate Women’s Month with Open Patio shows and performances that celebrate diversity and feminine power in culture, with singer Gisele Padilha, reggae deejay Rose BomBom, and artist Célia Leite.
March 7 – Gisele Padilha (main photo) In this show, singer Gisele Padilha will sing the songs that strengthened her on the stages of life, avenues, songs, yards, prisons, universities inside and outside Brazil. “The woman who lives in me” features female composers who inspired Padilha over the years, such as Selma Delago, Andréa Frazão, Célia Sampaio, Doralice, Bia Ferreira, Ivone Lara, Beth Carvalho and Patativa.
March 14 – Deejay Rose Bombom – Lipstick on Vinyl is the theme of collector and DJ Rose Bombom’s discotheque. Under his command, the set will be filled with female voices from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today.
March 21 – Women of Athens Poetic Recital – Célia Leite and Band – The recital seeks to encourage women in all categories and genres to also exercise their poetic and musical functions, preserving feminine literary culture.
