Play of the Cashiers and Cashiers from Serrano do Maranhão celebrates tradition in the Open Courtyard

The Feast of the Divine Holy Spirit is one of the most traditional festivities in Maranhão. Held in several cities in the state, the tradition keeps alive the beauty of the ringing of the boxes and the singing of the litanies.

Coming from Serrano do Maranhão, the Pombinho Branco Caixeiras and Caixeiro Group will perform at our Open Courtyard this Thursday, showing how the rescue of the box culture is resisting in the municipality.

Due to the schedule for the 21st National Museum Week, the presentation will take place at 8 pm, exceptionally. We are waiting for you!
