Pátio Aberto presents, this Thursday, the show Wanderson Silva: 25 years of Percussion

The Wanderson Silva Show: 25 Years of Percussion , takes place on Thursday (07), at 7pm. One of the most active percussionists in Maranhão's musical scene, Wanderson has already played with Alcione, Demônios da Garoa, Chico César, Zezé Motta, Zé da Velha and Silvério Pontes, among others. He participated in the Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra (OSB). He undertook the musical direction of the show Seu João, in honor of João do Vale and of As Yabás, a show about female orixás. In 2014, he received the Universidade FM Award (UFMA), as best percussionist. Wanderson will be accompanied by musician Robertinhochina (guitar and mandolin), George Gomes (drums), Rui Mário (piano and accordion), Davi Oliveira (bass), Alex Gonçalves (percussion) and Lee Sousa (sax and flute). The show will feature special guest appearances by Grupo Caçoeira and Gabriel Melônio. Rhythms from Maranhão, choro, African and Afro-Latin sounds will be in the repertoire. Unmissable!
