Passinho do DANÇA HERE Workshop - Registration closed

The DANÇA AQUI program, which is receiving 7 street dance groups to rehearse at the CCVM for four months, ends the first phase with workshops by reference professionals, chosen by the groups to accompany them and help them improve their technique. To expand the program's reach, these professionals will also hold workshops open to the public. A super opportunity for learning and improvement! On Friday (19), from 3 pm to 7 pm, and Saturday (20), from 10 am to 2 pm , the Passinho workshop will take place, with dancer Sidy IDD . Created in the communities of Rio de Janeiro, Passinho mixes elements of samba, frevo, funk and Angolan kuduro. The style took over Brazil, becoming one of the modalities of street dance battles. Sidy IDD, chosen by the group Os Menor do Funk, is from Rio de Janeiro and grew up in the community of Engenho da Rainha. In 2009, he was introduced to the dance by his brother, who asked him: “be the best dancer in Passinho Foda”. He pursued a career and became a national reference in the Passinho movement, being considered one of the style's kings. He is the founder of the group Imperadores da Dança. Winner of the Passinho Ouro, DNA Carioca and Batalha Palco Hip Hop battles.
