In January, the CCVM presents an audiovisual program that begins with the screening of the film “A Cashew Tree”, which portrays the importance of quilombola education to guarantee the preservation of historical values.
Directed by Pablo Monteiro and Cadu Marques, A Cashew Tree brings stories lived in the quilombola community of Cajueiro, recording those memories. After the film, we will have a presentation of Coco Marajá, a game that has existed since 1971 in the city of Alcântara (MA).
The Open Patio this Saturday (11) starts at 19:00 p.m.
