Musical Documentary Workshop with Ana Ríeper

The Vale Maranhão Cultural Center will hold, from May 10th to 14th, at 3 pm, the Musical Documentary workshop, with filmmaker Ana Ríeper. The course will cover the different possible paths of narrative construction of this type of film. In classes, issues such as the representation of music in cinema, biographical meaning in documentaries, construction of film and content premises, script writing and the production process will be analyzed. Ana Ríeper is the director of the film "Vou rifar meu Coração", winner of the awards for best film at the London Brazilian Film Festival and at the International Festival of Musical Documentaries In Edit Brasil ; best direction and editing at Fest Cine Goiânia; and honorable mention by critics and best art direction at the Uruguay International Documentary Film Festival – Atlantidoc.
