The Indígenas.BR – Photography Award aims to promote and encourage indigenous photographic production. Indigenous records bring a diverse and necessary look to broaden the horizons of photographic language, in addition to their importance for documenting the various cultures present in the country. 20 photographs were selected, which came from the five regions of the country and received the R$800.00 prize. First and second place receive an extra amount of R$1,200.00 and R$800.00, respectively. The jury made the choice without knowing the authorship of the photos and was composed by photographers Edgar Rocha, Sunshine Santos and Vicente Martins Jr., who have already exhibited at the CCVM. All awarded photos will be displayed on the CCVM networks and will be available in a virtual gallery on site.
