Corpo Territory: Between Brazil and Black Africa - Oficina Corpo em Diaspora, with Luciane Ramos Silva - Open Inscriptions

09 to 11 December 2020

In the Month of Black and Diversity at CCVM , the program Território Corpo: Between Brazil and Black Africa , holds the workshop Corpo em Diaspora, with Luciane Ramos Silva (SP ), from 12/09 to 12/11, from 10 am to 11 am. Using techniques and poetics from the black diaspora, mainly non-hegemonic ways of approaching the body, the artist offers procedures to instigate the imagination, organize motor structures and provoke the movement of each participant in an integral way, considering that each person has their own story . The proposal is to imagine times, energies, spaces, relationships, in order to create common senses, which far from making people equal, will strengthen the subjective potencies of each one. Luciene Ramos Silva is a dance artist, PhD in Performing Arts (Unicamp) and member of the dance company Anykaya Dance Theater (USA). He has a specialization in African Diaspora from the University of Maryland (USA). For ten years, he has been developing projects on the body, culture and coloniality. She was the curator of several dance shows, including Insubimissas (2018) and FIT (2018).
