Registration is open for the Vogue workshop, with artist Zaila (SP), which takes place on the 27th and 28th of this month, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm , through the program Território Corpo: Between Brazil and Black Africa . The dance emerged between the 1960s and 1980s, in Harlem (New York – USA). Expression of black, Latino, transvestite and Trans women bodies, integrates the dance culture ( Ballroom Community ), in order to celebrate their existence. The purpose of the workshop is to experiment with the possibilities of performance, intentions and musicalities of Vogue (VogueBeat, Vogue music and House), presenting the elements of Vogue Femme. Zaila is a performer, teacher and choreographer of urban dances. She has been researching and working on performances based on breaking standards for ten years, in areas such as aesthetics, gender and sexuality. He is part of Coletivo Amen, which promotes parties and debates with a bias towards race, gender and class, and is part of House Of Zion , a group of performers that develops Vogue dance, through interventions and meetings with the Ballroom (SP) community and others Brazilian states.
