Body Territory: Between Brazil and Black Africa - Frevo Workshop, with Jefferson Figueiredo (PE) - Open Enrollment

As part of the Black Month and Diversity program at CCVM , the Corpo Territory: Between Brazil and Black Africa holds the Frevo workshop , with Jefferson Figueiredo (PE), on November 20 and 21, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm . The workshop is an invitation to experiment with the singularities and potential of bodies, based on the frevo dance. Participants will experience the main steps of dance, in dialogue with its historical, social and political context. Jefferson Figueiredo is a dance artist and frevo dancer. Master's student in Dance and Specialist in Contemporary Dance Studies (UFBA). She works in the area of traditional and contemporary dances and develops research on frevo. He is a member of Cia. de Dança Artefolia and of the group Cláudio Lacerda/Dança Amorfa.
