To celebrate its 28th anniversary, Bloco Afro Juremê promotes a round of conversation to tell its story, with the participation of its founder Juliana Fonseca and Berg Pinheiro, interpreter; Pai Lindomar, coordinator of the Orixás ward; and Walter do Pagode, vocalist coordinator and composer. After the conversation, we will have the presentation No Mundo Encantado da Jurema , with Afro-Brazilian drums and dance, revering the Yabás warriors. The Afro Juremê Block is made up of about 130 members, who perform at carnival and June festivities, in addition to carrying out cultural and social actions in the Vila Passos community and in other neighborhoods in São Luís, promoting the appreciation of Afro-Brazilian culture . Those interested in participating in the conversation circle should send their full name and telephone to contato@ccv-ma.org.br. The transmission will take place through the Zoom Platform and the CCVM channel on YouTube. Free registration. Watch at: https://www.youtube.com/centroculturalvalemaranhao
