Mandigueiros do Amanhã Cultural and Educational Center presents the “Sounds of Mandigueiro” in Pátio Aberto

A project dedicated to bringing citizenship to children from Quilombola communities in the interior and the capital through Capoeira Angola and other Afro-Brazilian demonstrations. This is the Mandingueiros do Amanhã Cultural Center, which will present on Thursday, 18, at Pátio Aberto, the “Sons of Mandigueiro”.

The presentation will bring together expressions of various events with which they work, preserving intangible Afro-Brazilian cultural heritage, such as the Festa do Divino, Capoeira de Angola, Samba de roda, Tambor de Crioula and Dança do Coco.
