Fuzarca Marine Block completes 90 years of history with special presentation at the CCVM

Continuing the CCVM’s carnival program, the Fuzileiros da Fuzarca block will perform next Thursday (05) with the show “Batucada 90”, in celebration of 90 years of existence and cultural resistance.

Founded on February 11, 1936, the block is considered the oldest in Maranhão and the second oldest in Brazil, which reveals its importance in the regional art scene. The show “Batucada 90” is a reverence to the roots of the traditional Maranhão carnival, with songs that marked generations and guaranteed revelry for the public.
