With a concert dedicated to Northeastern songs, the João do Vale Maranhão Youth Orchestra will be the attraction of the Open Courtyard this Thursday, October 26th, at 19:00.

Under the baton of Edson Cosmos, the orchestra was born at the Lilah Lisboa de Araújo State School of Music of the State of Maranhão, and has been performing at various events and venues in São Luís for 9 years.

In addition to classical music, the orchestra has popular songs arranged in an orchestral fashion in its repertoire, especially the singer-songwriter João do Vale from Maranhão.
