Circula CCVM takes cinema to the quilombola communities of Rosário and Presidente Juscelino, this weekend

Circula CCVM screens films in quilombo communities. The schedule features French-language films for all ages and rating is free. The French Institute supports this initiative. This weekend we will be in two communities of Rosário and Presidente Juscelino, with the film: The Little Seller of the Sun , by Djibril Diop Manbéty (1998). Duration: 45 min – Drama – Senegal Synopsis : In the streets of Dakar, a girl does the work reserved for boys: selling a newspaper. The film portrays the confrontation between childhood and reality, and the joyful desire not to let oneself down.
