CIRCULA CCVM Program takes the exhibition AFETOS to the Arari Knowledge Station

06 July to 06 September 2019

The CIRCULA CCVM program takes the exhibition AFETOS to Arari, bringing together photographs by Edgar Rocha. Inaugurated at CCVM in December 2017, the exhibition has already been in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Canaã dos Carajás, now arriving at Estação Conhecimento Arari, expanding its reach even further. "The circulation of our programming is important for the artists involved and benefits audiences who have practically no access to exhibitions, workshops and cinema, which is why we are committed to making CIRCULA CCVM's actions feasible", highlights Paula Porta, curator and director of the Center. For the director of Estação Conhecimento Arari, Pedro Carlos Filho, “the initiative democratizes access to the arts. The exhibition shows the daily life of our people, their knowledge, their festivals, beliefs and traditions. We will hold conversation circles to discuss local traditions, the appreciation of knowledge present in the territory and the importance of the crafts portrayed in the images, to awaken the public's perception of the richness of our culture.” The exhibition will be open to visitors from July 6th to September 6th. Monday to Friday – 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are in the region, don't miss it!
