Since its founding in 1994, the Deborah Colker Dance Company has been active in the field of training through workshops, seminars, and lectures for various sectors. In 2004, she founded the Deborah Colker Movement Center, a school for various movement techniques focusing on the integration of dance with the world of the arts in general, which today has about 800 students.

The workshop consists of an introduction to the company’s language. According to Deborah Colker, contemporary dance brings together the issues of today’s world with the art of dancing. The Company’s shows bring everyday life to life, in dialogue with the various techniques and studying the relationship with space, weight, volume, balance, and imbalance.

These contents are part of the construction of a body that dances with pleasure, intelligence, and awareness of its possibilities. The topics are covered in classes through phrases that make up the Company’s repertoire of shows.

The classes are aimed at professional dancers with an advanced level.
