Workshop and Masterclasses

11/20 to 23 – Workshop From Mudo Cinema to Whatsapp: audiovisual perceptions , with Christian Caselli – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm The workshop consists of an overview of audiovisual perception, from the birth of cinema to the present day. Christian Caselli is from Rio de Janeiro, filmmaker, with recognized production in alternative audiovisual. He also works as a video teacher, video artist and curator of short and feature films. There are 80 vacancies. Registration will be carried out on site, 30 minutes in advance. 11/20 – Masterclass Audiovisual Projects: from idea to multiplatform , with Leonardo Menezes – 2 pm to 5:30 pm Come and learn how to document your insights! The teacher will analyze the steps in the process of creating and developing audiovisual projects, from the initial idea to its presentation in different supports. The activity is aimed at audiovisual professionals, producers, screenwriters, communication students. Leonardo Menezes is a screenwriter, curator, content manager at the Museum of Tomorrow and partner at Guaraná Conteúdo. There are 80 vacancies. Registration will be carried out on site, 30 minutes in advance. 21/11 – Masterclass for Learning with Animation , with Alexandre Juruena – 2 pm to 5:30 pm The course will address the national and international panorama of teaching animation. The most important schools, universities and audiovisual courses (focused on animation) will be presented based on their main characteristics, developed techniques, awards at film festivals and exchange possibilities and admission processes. Alexandre Juruena is from Rio de Janeiro, director of Anim!Arte – International Festival of Student Animation in Brazil and curator of national and international film and animation festivals. There are 80 vacancies. Registration will be carried out on site, 30 minutes in advance. 11/22 – Documentary Masterclass – From development to screens , with Carol Benjamin – 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm How does the development process of a documentary feature film happen? What are the key steps? These and other questions will be addressed, starting from the analysis of the process of making a feature-length documentary, from development to release to the public. Carol Benjamin is from Rio de Janeiro, screenwriter and producer of the feature film Divinas Divas , by Leandra Leal, a documentary with the largest audience in Brazil in 2017. She is a founding partner of Daza Filmes. There are 80 vacancies. Registration will be carried out on site, 30 minutes in advance. 11/23 – Masterclass Intellectual Property in the Cultural Industry , with Cláudio Lins Vasconcelos – 2 pm to 5:30 pm In this course, the professor will address an introduction to the economics of culture; analog media, digital media and intellectual property; acquisition and transfer of copyright; individual management, collective management and risk management. Claudio Lins de Vasconcelos is an author-law lawyer, partner at Lins de Vasconcelos Advogados. He holds a doctorate from UERJ, a master's degree from the University of Notre Dame, a postgraduate professor in Intellectual Property Law at PUC-Rio. There are 80 vacancies.
