CCVM receives interactive work Livelyyy, by French artist Guillaumit

09 September to 07 October 2022

In partnership with the French Institute, the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center will host, from September 9 to October 7, the work Livelyyy, an interactive mural created by the French artist Guillaumit at the invitation of Associação Electroni [k], which provides a reflection on our relationship with life, through the intersection between arts graphics, augmented reality and video game experience.

Interactivity materializes through a game that transports the audience to a 3D universe, populated by a multiplicity of interdependent species: animals, insects, living organisms, and microbes. Thus, with the cell phone in hand, the hidden richness of life hidden in the mural will be revealed, inviting visitors to take care of this ecosystem.

The action continues the partnership signed between the CCVM and the French Institute, which already includes film screenings at the institution’s headquarters and in quilombola communities in the interior of Maranhão. For this action, the Consulate of France General in Recife and the network of French Alliances in Brazil also add to the partner.

Livelyyy is a creation by Guillaumit, accompanied and produced by Electroni [k], in co-production with Amiens Métropole le Safran (Safra Digital Festival), the Théâtre de l’Éclat (Noob Festival) and with the support of the French Embassy in Singapore and the National Art Council of Singapore (Voilah! & Artsin your Neighborhood), Tétris (Exhibit Festival) and the French Institute of Tokyo (Digital Choc Festival).
