As part of the 19th Museum Spring, whose theme in 2025 is “Museums and Climate Change”, the CCVM organizes free programs that invite the public to reflect on environmental impacts and the role of museums in the preservation of memory, culture, and the environment.
Among the activities are the Spanish Film Festival, a partnership with the Spanish Embassy in Brazil, which screens award-winning films with themes such as urban planning, feminism and social issues; the presentation of the traditional Bumba Meu Boi Protection of Saint John, with the matraca accent of Saint Agnes; and a mediated visit to the exhibition “Original Resistances”, conducted by the Educational Center, which highlights the struggle and knowledge of the original peoples in the face of the transformations of the planet.
