From May 14 to 18, the Maranhão Week to Combat LGBTphobia will take place in São Luís.
The event will be held in partnership with the Maranhão LGBTI+ Public Policy Observatory and Vale Maranhão Cultural Center.
With art, workshops, conversation circles and culture, the activity seeks to encourage spaces for dialogue, information exchange, connection of ideas and actions to promote the rights of the LGBTQIA+ population in Maranhão.
The week refers to the International Day to Combat LGBTphobia, celebrated on May 17.
