Bumba Meu Boi da Floresta celebrates 50 years of history at the CCVM Open Courtyard

One of the main groups of Bumba Meu Boi in the capital, the Forest Ox by Mestre Apolônio is the attraction this Thursday, the 14th, in the Open Patio program of the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center.

With an accent from Baixada Maranhão, the group born in the Liberdade neighborhood has more than 150 members and is celebrating 50 years of history in popular culture in Maranhão in 2022.

The presentation starts at 19:00 with free admission. The CCVM is located at Av. Henrique Leal (or Rua Direita), 149, Historic Center.
