Break Workshop of the Dance Aqui Program - Registration open

The DANÇA AQUI program, which is receiving 7 street dance groups to rehearse at the CCVM for four months, ends the first phase with workshops by reference professionals, chosen by the groups to accompany them and help them improve their technique. To expand the program's reach, these professionals will also hold workshops open to the public. A super opportunity for learning and improvement! The first workshop is a break dance, created in the 70s, which has been constantly changing. Classes take place on the 12th and 13th of this month, from 3pm to 7pm. Kid Guma, chosen by the Plano B Crew group, is a professional break dancer, choreographer, cultural producer and art educator. He was the first Brazilian to win the Battle of Month, a traditional break event in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is one of the members of Natural Effects, a break group created in 1995, awarded in important international street dance festivals. Creator of the first online break course in Brazil, Break Workshop, also uses the web to share knowledge for free through its newsletter A Jornada da Dança.
